Latvian pharmaceutical company Solepharm has launched exports to Albania, LETA learned from the company.

Solepharm plans to export three of its original products to Albania – Olefar DUO Oil Spray, Artroveron 5 in 1 with Omega, and Pregnafar.

Negotiations on cooperation with Albania were launched in 2014, but in October 2015, during an annual pharmacy fair
CPhI Worldwide in Madrid, a cooperation agreement was signed.

Solepharm board chairman Juris Ozols said that the company plans to increase its export share. At present the company is working
on registration of ten products for exports to Macedonia.

Ozols said that last year Solepharm group companies boosted their turnover by 50 percent to EUR 1.2 million.
Products under Sole Pharma Healthcare brand are available in 11 countries – Finland, Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania, Estonia, Georgian,
Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Moldova and Serbia. Currently the company exports 70 percent of its output.

According to Firmas.lv business database, Solepharm in 2014 generated EUR 580,259 in sales and earned EUR 19,278 in profit.
Solepharm, established in 2009, has a share capital of EUR 10,000. Ozols the company’s sole owner.
